Hello and Happy Holidays and HELP!! Attention: Friends and Artists...Please send advice!

I decided to start an art journal for 2013 and I am so excited! I have been reading Art Journaling, by Somerset Studio and getting inspired. 2012 was a year of change for me...My husband getting a job after being unemployed for 1 1/2 years in Fort Worth, Tx. So we moved in July after being in Yulee, FL for 6 years. We had to search  for jobs, go through interviews, pack, say our goodbyes, move, find a place to live, find renters for our house in /Yulee, start the new jobs, learn the traffic of a new huge metroplex, learn the new jobs, get to know new people, unpack...WHEW!! I'm tired just thinking of all I went through in 2012 and it's no wonder Gifts of Creation took a back seat and my art journey just went on hold for a while. I have my first real staycation since moving here and I feel the pull back into art now and I face 2 problems, 1) my art room/office is a disaster and needs a makeover and 2)where am I creatively and what do I want to do with my art...So any advice would be welcomed.... So here are some pictures of my first art journal pages, the magazine, the moleskin journal and the prismacolor pencils and pitiful mess I sit in the middle of...

Hello from Fort Worth, TX

Well I guess I've been out of blogging for awhile and I apologize for being so late with an explanation. We had been praying for over a year for my husband to find a job and nothing was happening in the Jacksonville, Fl area where we lived. So he got an interview in May and got a job at Dannon Yogurt, Inc. in Ft. Worth, Tx.as a project engineer and ever since then it has been a whirlwind of goodbyes, packing, making moving plans,a hunting and house hunting trip for me, driving 1,000 miles with 3 dogs, starting a new job, unpacking, learning a new city, the worst traffic of my life!, 100+ heat every day and night, making new friends, getting back into a routine.....Whew! I had to put my etsy store in vacation mode and it is still not back up and running. I don't even have my office or art supplies unpacked yet! With all that stress expressed, I need to add that I am extremely thankful to God for taking care of us and answering so many prayers. We got here safely, found a great house to rent, got renters for our house back in FL, We both have GREAT jobs! and God continues to be faithful. He was faithful during the time when we couldn't see any answers and had no idea what theynext step was and He is faithful now. SO...maybe that now all of this life change is settling down, I can get out my art supplies and paint. Meanwhile, my creativity is confined to setting up a new house and making meals... See the Tuna Salad Flower above.....I just can't stop wanting to create flowers....
