Fruit Painting....I'm Still Here!!!

This is the painting I was working on at the grand opening show...I have to explain that right about that time I started a discipleship class with my husband at our church and it's been absolutely wonderful!! However, we will just about read the entire bible in 34 weeks so we have homework 6 nights a week!! It is so fabulous to be in the word, but I have found my art time has gone out the window. Maybe I'm just in a "filling up" period....not to worry though, I'm hoping that this will spill out into my artwork soon and be a blessing to others. Please pray with me that my art continues to be a blessing and that God's light shines brighter than ever through my "Gifts of Creation".

A gift of thanks...

Hi This is the painting I made in honor of my doctor and I gave it to him on Monday. I think he liked it. Anyway, I am thankful to be feeling so much better and to be free from the constant worry about my tachycardia. Thank you Lord for sending me to Dr. Sagi. He said my follow ups are over and I only need to come back if I have concerns.

Hi! I hope you are all well! I am so busy now with the praise band at church, taking a discipleship class and getting ready to display my scripture paintings at the grand opening of Living Waters Christian Bookstore in Kingsland, GA on August 22!
I am so blessed and thankful to God for his gifts and goodness to me.
Today,I am going to see Dr. Sagi, my cardiologist, for my 10 month check up since my heart catheterization and ablation surgery last October. I am so grateful for all that God has done to use this Doctor to heal my "racing heart" condition and make the quality of my life so much better! Thank you Lord you are so good. God's love is truly amazing and his compassion never fails and I give him all the glory! One of you suggested that I give Dr. Sagi the painting that I made in honor of him and I am going to give it to him today and I will take a picture to show you on my next post!

Art Class finished!

Here is a photo and closeups of the painting I finished last weekend to be added to the group being displayed at Living Waters Christian Bookstore in St MArys GA. I have also included a photo of the painting from a live model piece done at the painting class I took from Eileen Corse of Corse Gallery and Atelier in Jacksonville, FL which I finished last night.

Some new creations!

Here are some of my newest mixed media scripture paintings! I am sorry I have not posted but I have been painting!!! I love the new colors I got for my art class and I am trying them out. I am preparing a collection of paintings to take to Living Waters Christian Bookstore in St. Marys GA. I will set up with a "meet the artist" area on the grand opening day, although the store is open now, I will wait until then to display my artwork there and put it up for sale. The grand opening will be in Aug or Sept with some book signings and a concert as well...I am so excited!! Here is my collection so far.. I hope you like them, some are new and some are old paintings I have altered and added scriptures to fit this new "look".
