I did some new paintings this weekend!!! I have a zebra/wild animal themed therapy room at work which the kids love. I have been thinking about doing these paintings now for a few months and I finally did them! I hope you like them. They are also for sale on ETSY.

A Painting for a New Friend and Fellow Artist

Hi! I have only had time to do little bits of art here and there for the last couple of years. It's been a whirlwind since moving from FL to TX and getting settled in to our new jobs and home. Traffic and the weather has been another huge adjustment. We really miss having our beautiful beach only 25 minutes away from our home. One positive is the wonderful people I have met here and had the opportunity to work with.
This painting is for a new friend's birthday, a fellow therapist and OT who I have really connected with as a person and another creative artist soul. I was inspired by her culture and her love for dance to create this mixed media painting for her. She is a bright spot in my day at work everyday!

Colored Pencil Magazine Monthly Contest
