I'm trying to post more often, so sometimes things won't be finished. I hope you enjoy seeing a creation in progress as much as I do. I am really enjoying creating these pieces!! I have added the modeling paste underneath the painting for texture. These pieces are fun because they are more unplanned. I start with a theme or main character and just go from there...like the bird in His Eye on the Sparrow and then the flowers and dragonfly. This one was just the palm tree. The black smudgy outline adds contrast....Now I will find some words, maybe scripture, to go over this. I like the mixture of inspirational words and art....

I too enjoy seeing art in progress. This is shaping up quite nicely. I'm enjoying you posting more often. This seagull here made me smile, such nasty/dirty birds at time but they cam also be such fun to watch. The seagulls are one of the things I remember most from living in Florida so many long years ago.
